Immaculate Conception Church
Welcome to Immaculate Conception Church!
Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church is located near beautiful Okanagan Lake and Kelowna's downtown core. It neighbours St. Joseph Catholic School, a kindergarten to grade seven elementary school.
Originally established as a parish mission by Father Charles Pandosy in 1859, Immaculate Conception Parish has a rich history within the Okanagan. Since its early beginnings, the parish has grown significantly, and new church buildings were constructed to meet the needs of the community. The third (and present) church building was consecrated by Bishop Doyle on December 23, 1962, and although we have said goodbye to the church buildings of yesterday, vestiges of our history can be found within the walls of our current church building.
Our rich faith tradition is expressed through rosary prayers, devotions and the celebration of special feast days. Mass is celebrated morning and evening on weekdays. There are four Sunday Masses, including a Youth Mass on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month.
Whether new to Kelowna or a long time resident, feel free to come and pray with us!
